Shriya is a Washington, DC–based film photographer focused on capturing the people and communities around her. A graduate of American University, where she studied Psychology and International Business, she developed her craft in the photography lab through film processing and analog experimentation.

Her love of photography began with a Minolta X-700 gifted on her 14th birthday—a camera she still shoots with today.
